My Bio

I am a chemist student who lives in north of Norway, and has photography as a time off hobby beside my frustrating equation solving.

The fresh arctic air is a nice way to clear the mind.

I like to practice wildlife, landscape and macro photography, and hope to get somewhere with my pictures later in life.

Through my chemistry studies, I've discovered some depressing and horrible truth about the global and environmental issues we are approaching, and therefore my passion is to make the world a much better place with the environment as main focus.

But how?

Currently, I want people to see the beauty of the nature, and hopefully people will understand and be more aware of what we will lose if we don't do anything asap.

The pictures in the gallery are taken with an old Canon EOS 600D. I use different lenses depending on what kind of picture I want to take and how good I wish it to turn out.

Do you want to know more, discuss science, my photos or just have a chat, don't be afraid to contact me! I reply as soon as I can. Follow me on my journey, and you'll get a glimpse of the beautiful nature in Norway and maybe some nerdy science.

Have you ever had your photos stolen? I just had this case where someone uploaded some of my photos to their website and claimed it as their own. It was couple of my aurora shots. This really provokes me.... It seems like people don't understand the time, energy and money photographers put into their work. What people see, is a picture of the northern light, a beautiful reindeer or some pretty mountains. For me that ONE northern light picture took a whole night, from 8PM to 6AM, sitting patiently in the freezing cold weather, and waiting for the perfect show. Cause aurora is unpredictable. The Reindeer picture costed gas, took me couple of hours to find the herd and sit carefully and patiently waiting for them to accept me, and took me 1600 pictures to get that one perfect shot. Not even talking about the risk I take for them to not accept me. The mountain took me a whole day of walking with heavy equipment to get to that perfect spot. I am a hobby

Hello all my Arctic followers! We're now in november, which means it's not so long until Christmas time! :la: I am excited, are you? :la: During this year, I've collected a lot of experience and tried new things. I have a collection of photographs I haven't shared with you yet. Some of it, I didn't plan to share, and some that I've just forgotten about. So I've decided; I've collected some of my unshared photographs into an Advent Calendar for my lovely followers! I'll post a new picture every day at 8 AM, from the 1st day in December till Christmas Eve, and I really hope you will join me on the adventure! :dummy: I won't spoil too much, but in the upcomming calendar, you can expect some wildlife and landscape shots; BUT also some shots where I've tried my new and more artistic side :O_o: Some days are going to have a scientific explenation behind, for those who are particularly interested. (nerds like me 😂) I hope you will enjoy my advent calendar and thank
